Not at all…All levels are welcome and nothing is compulsory. Showing up for yoursef is the first step.

Every Friday 1830 Mandala @ashramibiza_yoga_center

Today, was my first Mandala practise of 2025 and it reminded me how much I LOVE this particular style of yoga, so I couldn’t wait to share!

WHY I LOVE IT ?🫶🏻

-Each flow always offers something different, integrating the asanas (postures) to an element of nature- fire,water,earth or air.

For me, I personally really resonate with nature and feel so drawn to the weather, I used to be really affected by it. This practise reminds me that we have these elements within us all and that when we know how to control and maintain the responses to the shifts, the more balance within our lives is created- things then fall into place naturally..

-You get a sandwich of yin and yang in one flow- beginning and ending with yin with its juicy middle bit of yang. This always leave me feeling more balanced and more connected to my true shadow/light, masculine/feminine and creativity/logic energies.

-Moving around the mat rather than habitually going in a linear vinyasa flow enhances learning.

By building on the flow repeating the same geometrical shape as in a mandala design we are altering the neuro plasticity of our brains by breaking the habitual pattern and moving us to being more aware and alert- reminding one to keep focus, listen, respond and be fully present. It always surprises me how much mandala brings me so authentically to being in the now.

In ibiza I really haven’t seen much or any Mandala classes on the island, and I so hope that if you are reading this (and made it so far 🤣), that you will spread the news and try this gorgeous practise.
